CORO Mendocino is a class of ultra-premium wines made to showcase the rich heritage and unique characteristics of our Mendocino County home. CORO, meaning “chorus” in Italian, is a signature blend individually crafted from endocino County grapes in accordance with strict CORO Mendocino bylaws.
This is the first time in U.S. history that winemakers from any region have created parameters for a wine distinctive to their area. Each CORO wine shares a juried quality standard and a trademarked package.
The luscious fruit of Charlie Barra's 55 year old Zinfandel and Petite Sirah vines shine through in this special CORO blend made from fruit grown on the foothills of Mendocino County. This inaugural CORO release marks Charlie's 63rd year of farming grapes in the red, iron-rich soils of Redwood Valley.
