Annual BARRA of Mendocino Winemaker Dinner
Crush Italian Steakhouse

In celebration of the annual Mushroom, Wine and Beer Festival, we invite you to join BARRA of Mendocino for an intimate gourmet winemaker dinner at Crush Italian Steakhouse in Ukiah. We have collaborated with Crush to create a delectable mushroom-themed menu sure to delight your palate. This exquisite meal will be paired with our organically grown BARRA of Mendocino and Girasole Vineyards wines. Our winemaker Owen Smith, and owners Charlie and Martha Barra, will be your hosts for the evening and look forward to sharing this special evening with you.

Meet & Greet:  Roasted cremini cap + linguica, sundried tomato, artichoke heart, mozzarella (BARRA of Mendocino Pinot Noir & Pinot Noir Rosé)

First Course: Open –faced ravioli + house made pasta, garlic, herbs, sautéed blend of local mushrooms, porcini cream (BARRA of Mendocino Chardonnay)

Shaved trumpet salad + arugula, shaved asparagus, red onion, house vin, toasted focaccia crumbs, EVOO 

Spiced roasted half shell lobster + local chanterelle, roasted corn, bacon

Second Course: Pan-seared duck breast + Muscovy duck, port reduction, oven roasted matsutake, cauliflower, broccoli rabe (BARRA of Mendocino CORO)

Pistachio crusted crown of lamb + slow roasted Niman Ranch rack of lamb, locally sourced porcini, shallot, cous cous (BARRA of Mendocino Petite Sirah)

Dessert: Sweet tooth bread pudding + bits of sweet tooth mushrooms, candy cap crème anglaise (Girasole Vineyards Muscat Canelli)

BARRA of Mendocino Annual Tree Lighting Celebration

Come one, come all! You and your family are invited to join BARRA of Mendocino for our festive Tree Lighting Celebration! 

Bring the entire family for our annual holiday celebration.  The Ukiah High School Caroling Choir will kick off the evening, followed by an old fashioned sing along.  Sure to delight young and old alike, this evening will feature homemade goodies, spiced cider for the kids and complimentary wine tasting for the adults.  Get into the spirit of the season by sipping on some wine while shopping for unique holiday gifts. The kids will be entertained with fun craft making, and be sure to bring blessings to our community by helping us hang donations on the giving trees.

Crab, Wine & Beer Festival

On each weekend of the Festival, drop by the beautiful BARRA of Mendocino tasting room for some complimentary appetizers paired with our estate grown wines made from certified organic grapes. Taste, shop and spend a relaxing afternoon in our beautiful gardens and picnic area.
